On National Youth Day, Bhopal came together for an inspiring display of patriotism, fitness, and unity as The Run Age and TriZee Athletes partnered with the Indian Army to organize the 10K Army Marathon Promo Run.

A Run That Brought Citizens & Soldiers Together

With 200 participants, including:

• 50 Indian Army soldiers

• 50 MP Police personnel

• 100 citizens

This run symbolized the power of fitness in uniting communities. The scenic 10K route started and ended at Sair Sapata, passing through Suraj Nagar and Sai Academy.

This event displayed the true meaning of community fitness, where civilians and soldiers ran side by side, building bridges through shared effort and determination.

Led by Leaders, Joined by All

The event was flagged off at 7 AM by Brigadier Surendra Chillar, who not only led the run but also completed the full 10K himself. The spirit of inclusivity was evident, with runners ranging from a 64-year-old senior citizen to a 6-year-old child—even a pet dog, Kiara, completed the run with her owner!

Supporting the event, cyclists from Bhopal Cycled Riders Group and Team GPBRA acted as marshals, ensuring safety and motivation throughout the route.

Voices of Inspiration

• Brigadier Chillar encouraged deeper civilian-soldier connections, saying, “Run with the Army, not just for the Army! Such events promote fitness, discipline, and national unity.”

• Divya Rai, Founder of The Run Age, shared, “Running unites us like family. Inspired by the Army’s discipline, community participation can build a fitter, more organized society.”

• Zamran Hussain, Founder of TriZee Athletes, expressed his vision of fostering a fitness culture in Bhopal, encouraging healthier lifestyles and stronger communities.

This event was a perfect celebration of fitness, unity, and patriotism, bringing citizens and soldiers together for a shared cause—strengthening the bond between communities and promoting a healthier future.
